SHOTS IN ACTION.......1983-4
Good season for the Shots finishing 5th in Division Four, seven points behind Bristol City who grabbed the fourth promotion place. The Shots were free scoring including netting five in three matches and putting seven past Mansfield, the last time the Shots managed that many was against Stockport during the 63/4 campaign. The FA Cup proved a dissapointment going out to Worcester City after a replay, though the second round of the League Cup was reached going out to First Division Notts County.
