SHOTS IN ACTION.......1984-5
|
||
An eventful season although not for League results which saw the Shots only reach 13th in Division Four. A club record run in the League Cup was made reaching the Third Round, taking First Division Norwich City to a foggy replay at the Rec. The FA Cup saw Aldershot go out to Burton Albion managed by Ex-Shot Neil Warnock. In November a boardroom takeover saw longtime Chairman Reg Driver and Co ousted with a new board installed replacing Manager Len Walker with Ex-Chelsea star Ron Harris, they did not maintain control and the old board and Manager were back in place for the following season. | ||
