SHOTS IN ACTION.......1988-9

Back to Division Four for Aldershot, the Shots finish rock bottom in a truly dismal season. Little respite in the misery as only eight League matches are won during the campaign, and indeed it takes until October before the home fans see the first win!. In the FA Cup Aldershot take Bristol City to four games in round two, eventually going out to a single goal after managing to overcome Hayes in round one 1-0.
