No goals in this trip to Kent for Aldershot watched by 8,236, however the Shots won the replay at the Rec 3-2 and travelled to Buxton in round two...

2nd Round, December 12th

Disaster as a weakened Shots side go down in Cambridgeshire before 16,717, Bill Lacey gets the Shots goal.

Yeovil Town 1 Aldershot 1

1st Round, November 19th

The Shots survived a trip to giant killers Yeovil drawing this tie 1-1 in front of 10,600 fans thanks to a goal from Bill Lacey, the replay at the Rec also finished with the same score. The second replay played at Southampton's Dell saw the Shots victorious 3-0, where two goals from Bill Lacey and one from Len Gaynor saw the Shots through to face Reading in round two.

1st Round, November 17th

Two Mortimore Costello goals were not enough as the Shots went down by the odd goal in five to United. The attendance at Edgar Street was 8,436.

1st Round, 2nd replay at St Andrews, Birmingham November 25th

The Shots drew 0-0 at the Rec and 2-2 at City before finally coming through the tie thanks to strikes from Jackson, Lacey and Henry in front of a 22,926 crowd at Birmingham City.

A day to forget in Norfolk for the Shots going down 3-1 with the consolation goal coming from Albert Mundy, the gate was 6,533.

1st Round, November 14th

It took two attempts for the Shots to take care of Dartford, the first game was drawn with Chamberlain scoring before 5,700. Peter Kearns scored the only goal in the replay at the Rec watched by 9,100.

1st Round, November 15th

A very pleasant trip to the seaside for Aldershot with Dennis Brown and Jack Howarth both netting hat-tricks and Peter Gowans scoring the other goal in front of 3,349 fans.

Two goals from big Jack Howarth were enough to see the Shots safely through to round two before 4,050 fans in North London.

Ray Dean scored twice with Jack Howarth & Murray Brodie getting the other two Shots goals in a comfortable win in Essex in front of a 2,400 crowd.

1st Round Replay, November 29th

Having only managed to draw 1-1 at the Rec thanks to a late Malcolm Crosby goal this turned into a reasonably comfortable trip to Dorset for Aldershot, with Terry Shanahan and John Duingwoth scoring for the Shots before a gate of 3,468.

A bitterly cold day in East London watched by Aldershot's lowest ever away FA Cup crowd of 1,897 was memorable only for the result. Terry Shanahan & John Dungworth were again the scorers seeing the Shots through to round three and a trip to Sheffield United.

1st Round Replay, November 16th

Following the 1-1 draw at the Rec this replay was always going to be difficult and so it proved with the Shots losing 2-1, Dale Banton scoring. Attendance 5,353.
